Blade Throw

Also known as Blade Sentinel in Vanilla. Damage improved, Cooldown removed, Synergies added.

Description: Set a spinning blade to patrol between you and the target point.

  • Required Level: 6
  • Prerequisites: None
  • Synergies: Blade Shield: 20% Damage per Level, Blade Fury: 20% Damage per Level
  • Mana Cost: 7
  • Duration: 1 second
  • Damage: Deals 50% of weapon damage regardless of 1H or 2H weapon used. Plus an absolute amount, see table. The increasement is progressive.
  • Attack Rating: Blade skills use your Standard Attack: Attack Rating. Check that to see how well you hit. Claw Mastery% currently has no bonus to blade skills (unequip your claw if you use one, to see the Attack Rating)

  • Patch Changes:

Blade Fury

Vanilla Mechanics Damage buffed.

Description: Throw spinning Blades to slice up your enemies.

  • Required Level: 18
  • Prerequisites: Blade Throw, Fire Blast, Wake of Fire
  • Synergies: None
  • Minimum Mana required to cast: 3
  • Damage: Deals 87% of weapon damage regardless of 1H or 2H weapon used. Plus an absolute amount, see table. Increasement is progressive.
  • Attack Rating: Blade skills use your Standard Attack: Attack Rating. Check that to see how well you hit. Claw Mastery% currently has no bonus to blade skills (unequip your claw if you use one, to see the Attack Rating)

Blade Shield

Blade Shield has ranged blades now. Here 3 at Skill-level 20 to 29


Description: Spinning blades slice enemies who stray too close.

  • Mechanics: These missiles can't pierce. They do proc as a ranged attack though.
  • Required Level: 30
  • Prerequisites: Blade Fury
  • Synergies: Blade Throw: 5% Damage per Level
  • Damage: Deals 50% of weapon damage regardless of 1H or 2H weapon used. Plus an absolute amount, see table. The increasement is progressive.
  • Attack Rating: Blade skills use your Standard Attack: Attack Rating. Check that to see how well you hit. Claw Mastery% Attack Rating Bonus IS working for Blade Shield contrary to the other two Blade Skills, when you are using a claw.

  • Patch Changes:

The Assassin’s Blade Shield skill has been replaced by a new skill with the same name. (Patch#10) Blade Shield’s tooltip now shows the duration.(Patch#11) Blade Shield now starts with 1 blade at level 1. It will gain an additional blade every 10 levels. (Patch#11)
