Editor's Note: Please note that this article is still being worked on for formatting and presentation. All patch notes have been added for all skills, but skills still need to be evaluated for net buffs or nerfs. Additionally, I also want to write a description for all skills, including pictures for new skills. Finally I want to add level charts for every skill in the game. So while the information below is correct, there will be better and clearly infromation coming soon (tm).

Character Base Stats:

  • Base mana regeneration increased from 0.83% to 1.66%.
  • Starts with +100 stamina.
  • Sorceress’ life per level increased to 1.5 (up from 1)

Skills:

Cold Skills:

Frozen Armor:

  • Frozen Armor has been removed.

Frigerate:

  • Has been added. This spell adds cold damage to a weapon and lower enemy defense on hit.
  • No longer gains duration with levels. They will always last 4 minutes.

Shiver Armor:

  • Shiver Armor’s damage synergy is now Frigerate instead of Chilling Armor.
  • Shiver Armor now receives more damage from its synergies.
  • Shiver Armor now has a longer base duration instead of receiving duration as a synergy bonus.

Chilling Armor:

  • Chilling Armor’s damage synergy is now Ice Bolt instead of Shiver Armor.
  • Chilling Armor now receives more damage from its synergies.
  • Chilling Armor now has a longer base duration instead of receiving duration as a synergy bonus.

Blizzard:

  • Blizzard's synergies are less effective. (Applied over several patches)
  • Mana cost significantly reduced.
  • Blizzard's synergies are slightly more effective. (As of Patch #10: Tanzanite)
  • Blizzard’s physical damage portion has been removed.

Frozen Orb:

  • Mana cost significantly reduced.

Frost Nova:

  • Mana cost has been reduced by 1.
  • Frost Nova’s Frigerate synergy has changed to Ice Blast.
  • Frost Nova’s synergies are now much more effective.
  • Frost Nova’s synergies are now more effective.

Freezing Pulse:

  • Has been added.
  • Freeze Pulse’s synergies have been reduced.
  • Freeze Pulse’s damage scaling has been reduced.
  • Freezing Pulse's damage scaling has been lowered.
  • Freezing Pulse’s synergies are now less effective.
  • Freezing Pulse’s mana cost now increases with levels.
  • Freezing Pulse now starts at 3 pulses (up from 1).
  • Freezing Pulse now gains 1 pulse every 5 levels (was 4).

Glacial Spike:

  • Mana cost has been reduced by 1.
  • Now has Freeze Pulse as a damage synergy.

Cold Mastery:

  • Had its starting resistance pierce reduced slightly so that reaching 100% pierce now requires skill level 25 instead of 19
  • Now also gains 1% cold damage per 2 levels.

Miscellaneous Cold Spell Changes:

  • Most other cold skills got buffed.

Lightning Skills:

Teleport:

  • Mana cost can no longer cost less than 12.

Thunder Storm:

  • Thunder Storm has been removed.

Static Field:

  • Static Field damage has been reduced from 25% to 20%.

Lightning Surge (Lightning):

  • Has been renamed to Lightning Surge to prevent confusion.

Energy Shield:

  • Now shows the efficiency percent on the tooltip.

Nova:

  • Nova’s damage synergies from Discharge has been reduced from 7% to 4%.
  • Nova damage scaling per level at levels 23+ have been reduced slightly.

Discharge:

  • == Editor's Note:== This skill has been redesigned and touched on and renamed so many times in the patch notes I have no idea what is going on. Will update this skill appropriately later.
  • Discharge’s damage synergy from Nova has been reduced from 5% to 4%.

Lightning Mastery:

  • Now provides Lightning piercing like Cold Mastery.
  • Had its starting resistance pierce reduced slightly so that reaching 100% pierce now requires skill level 25 instead of 19
  • Now also gains 1% lightning damage per 2 levels.

Energy Shield:

  • Energy shield's starting absorption lowered from 15% to 12%.

Miscellaneous Lightning Spell Changes:

  • Most other lightning skills have had damage buffs.

Fire Skills:

Blaze:

  • Blaze has returned but leaves a patch of burning ground rather than a narrow trail.

Ignite:

  • Removed from game replaced by blaze.

Immolate:

  • Has been added. This spell blasts fire damage in an AoE directly in front of you.

Inferno:

  • Now has a larger AoE coverage.

Warmth: Warmth has been nerfed slightly due to an increase in character's base mana regeneration per second.

Meteor:

  • Mana cost significantly reduced.
  • Meteor’s burn damage synergy from Fire Wall has been changed to Blaze.
  • Meteor’s physical damage portion has been removed.
  • Meteor’s delay before it hits the ground has been shortened by almost half.
  • Meteor’s post-explosion burning ground will now always last 2 seconds instead of scaling from 0.5 seconds to 12+ seconds

Hydra:

  • Mana cost significantly reduced.
  • Mana cost per level increased slightly.
  • Cooldown has been removed.
  • Hydra’s duration has been decreased slightly.
  • Hydra’s damage per level at higher levels (23+) has been reduced slightly.
  • Hydra’s damage has been reduced.
  • Hydra now receives a damage synergy from Warmth.

Fire Mastery:

  • Now provides Fire piercing like Cold Mastery.
  • Had its starting resistance pierce reduced slightly so that reaching 100% pierce now requires skill level 25 instead of 19
  • Now also gains 1% fire damage per 2 levels.

Inflame:

  • No longer gains duration with levels. They will always last 4 minutes.
  • Enchant renamed to Enflame to avoid confusion with Orb of Enchantment (Patch #13 Titanium).

Miscellaneous Fire Spell Changes:

  • Most other fire skills have had a damage buff.
