Bosses

The follow changes to bosses have been made in Path of Diablo.

Andariel

• The quest drop bug that exists in LoD has been fixed.

Diablo Clone

Note Well : after you're inside, you can't use a town portal and then return to the fight.

Cube Recipe:

• horn, brain + eye
• Diablo's Soulstone
• Key of Chaos (drops in maps)

Fight Mechanics:
There are 2 stages of the fight with the Diablo Clone.

The 1st stage is to kill the 5 Undead Commanders. They will appear along with continually spawning Reanimated Warriors to fight you.

Diablo is damage and curse immune until you've killed the 5 Undead Commanders. During this stage he can still damage you. Once they're dead, the 2nd stage begins where Diablo is no longer invulnerable.

Undead Commanders:

• (Code Tag: Prime Evil)
• Skills: Holy Freeze
• Guided arrow damage: 295-316 (60%/40% magic/physical)

Reanimated Warriors:

• (base Reanimated Horde - Charge removed)
• Damage Type: Physical (increased)
• % crushing blow (increased)
• All Resistances Types: High
• Curse immune

Diablo Clone:

• Skills: Lightning Hose (magic)
• Armaggedon (fire)
• Special red aura that reduces all the player's, minion's, and mercenary's maximum resistances by 5%.
• Increased life
• a part of his ‘Fire/Cold/Lightning Resistances’ have been replaced by ‘Fire/Cold/Lightning Absorb +%’.
• Occasionally casts Decrepify (-50% Physical Resistance, -50% Physical damage and reduced Run/Walk Speed)

Prime Evil tag meaning: the game gives them the same affixes as an act boss.

Uber Mephisto

• Drain effectiveness changed from 0% to 10% (it is possible to leech now from Mephisto without using the Life Tap curse)

Uber Baal

• Uses 'Lower Max Resist' curse which does -5% to player’s max resists
• Uses Frozen Armor instead of Chilling Armor

Uber Diablo

Lightning Hose:

• now hits in melee range
• increased damage
• 33% physical + 67% lightning

Uber Izual

• Has the Prime Evil tag. This makes him like act bosses and ubers who have special resistances and damage reductions

Super Uniques

• Act 3 Council Members no longer spawn with Fire Enchanted (fixes bug in Vanilla D2 that causes these monsters to deal insane damage in Nightmare)
• The Ancients will always spawn with fixed modifiers: Korlic has increased physical damage, Talic has Extra Fast and Madawc has Multiple Projectiles(Shot?). Talic now uses a lower level Whirlwind.

Additional Notes

• Uber Tristram is reduced in size with several obstacles removed
