The follow changes to bosses have been made in Path of Diablo.
Contents
Andariel
- The quest drop bug that exists in LoD has been fixed.
Diablo Clone
NOTE: After you're inside, you can't use a town portal and then return to the fight. If you die, portal closes and you can't go back.
Use waypoint or tp inside arena only after you have defeated Diablo Clone and collected your reward.
Do not bring an Annihilus charm into this fight, as you can't hold two in your inventory and you will have to leave one of them behind.
Cube Recipe:
- Horn (Lilith)
- Brain (uber Duriel)
- Eye (uber Izual)
- Diablo's Soulstone (uber Tristram)
- Key of Chaos (drops in maps)
Fight Mechanics:
There are 3 stages of the fight with the Diablo Clone.
The 1st stage is the Dark Wander, he does no damage and can't be killed. After a few seconds he summons Dclone, five Undead Commanders and a horde of Reanimated Dead. The Dark Wanderer sometimes delays his summoning if you or a minion are attacking him, so back away from the Dark Wanderer to start the fight properly.
The 2nd stage begins, the goal is to kill the 5 Undead Commanders. Diablo is immune to all damage until the 5 undead commanders are dead.
The 3rd stage begins once the 5 undead commanders are dead. Diablo is no longer invulnerable, destroy him to win the fight and collect your reward.
Undead Commanders:
- (Tag: Prime Evil)
- Skills: Holy Freeze
- Slow Aura
- Salvation
- Guided Arrow Damage: 295-316 (60% magic, 40% phys)
- Curse Immune
Reanimated Warriors:
- (base Reanimated Horde - Charge removed)
- Damage Type: Physical (increased)
- % crushing blow (increased)
- All Resistances Types: High
- Curse Immune

Diablo Clone:
- Skills: Lightning Hose (magic)
- Armaggedon (fire)
- Decrepify (-50% Phys Res and damage)
- Red Aura: reduces All maximum resistances by 5%.
- Increased life
- Part of Fire/Cold/Light Res changed to Fire/Cold/Light Absorb +%
- Curse Immune
Prime Evil tag meaning: the game gives them the same affixes as an act boss.
Uber Mephisto
- Drain effectiveness changed from 0% to 10% - it's possible to leech from Mephisto without using Life Tap
Uber Baal
- Curse: Lower Max Resist: -5% max resists
- Frozen Armor changed to Chilling Armor
Uber Diablo
Lightning Hose:
- Damage: 67% lightning, 33% phys
- hits melee range
Uber Izual
- Has the Prime Evil tag. This makes him like act bosses and ubers who have special resistances and damage reductions
Super Uniques
- Vanilla D2 bug fixed: Act 3 Council Members no longer spawn Fire Enchanted
The Ancients have fixed modifiers:
- Korlic: increased phys damage
- Talic: Extra Fast, uses a lower level Whirlwind
- Madawc: Multiple Projectiles
Additional Notes
- Uber Tristram is reduced in size with several obstacles removed
