Skill reworked as follows: fires auto-targeting projectiles. (Tanzanite #10) Compared to vanilla D2 Blade Shield skill damage is now affected by:
- Any off-weapon %ED (e.g. Fortitude Runeword, %ED modifiers against undead/demons, stat modifiers like Strength and Dexterity).
- Critical Strike, Deadly Strike and Crushing Blow.
- Freeze Target and Blind, as well as all CoC/CoS effects.
- Attack Rating.
- Weapon modifiers regarding AR and %ED coming from skills are also calculated depending on the utilized weapon type (i.e. claw mastery).
- Blade Skills are always considered a main-hand attack.
- Blades are shot every 0.8 seconds, with a one second delay after casting the shield (casting the shield does not trigger an attack).
- Sources of flat damage from items are added to the weapon damage calculation step which is affected by the 50% less damage multiplier.
- Weapon no longer loses durability.
Compared with Vanilla D2: base weapon damage increased moderately, damage scaling increased lightly, duration lengthened greatly and added synergies from Blade Throw and Blade Fury. (Bedrock #1-hidden)
