The following dungeon areas have been added/changed in Path of Diablo.

What is a Map?
- A map is an end-game area in Path of Diablo. In these higher level areas, adventeurers can find high level loot, however with such riches comes added peril.
- Maps also promote build diversity by offering different combinations of monsters with damage-type immunities (physical and or elemental), in varying densities.
- In a way that should be somewhat familiar to Path of Exile players, these areas can be accessed by using a series of new special items called Relics.
- All enemies in level 85+ areas have a chance to drop a map relic.
- The map relic will disappear once it's been opened.
- Map affixes can be modified or be made into a higher tier. White maps can be dropped from monsters outside of maps. Yellow and Red tier maps can only drop from inside maps.
Map Affixes
The different maps have affixes varying from simple low level to dangerous ones.
- Experience approximately +10-80%
- Monster density approximately +100-2400%
- Monsters have 10-60% chance to cast amplify damage on hit
- Monsters have 20% chance to cast meteor on death
- Monsters have level 0 blessed aim
- Monsters have level 2 vigor
- Monsters have level 0 cleansing
- Monsters have level 0-14 redemption aura
- Monsters have level 9 concentration
- Monsters have level 0 conviction aura
- Monsters have +162% increased attack rating
- Monsters have 0% deadly strike
- Monsters do +69 physical damage

Re-rolling a maps' affixes
- In the Horadric Cube transmute 6 Perfect Skulls + map. This modifies the map, for a chance to get a preferrable set of affixes.
How to corrupt a map:
- In the Horadric Cube transmute an Orb of Corruption + map to produce a corrupted map.
- In the Horadric Cube transmute a White Corrupted map + 3 Perfect Gems for a chance to make into a Yellow map.
Further Notes:
- A corrupted map won't have its location or tier changed, except Pleasant Pasture, which can be turned into a Yellow map.
- You can corrupt maps for a chance to get the +200% Gold and Magic Find affix or change the map completely to a Pleasant Pasture.
- We don't know the probability as of 8/30/2020.
- 3.2% (8 of 250) is the current best estimate for corrupting to get the Magic Find and Gold Find affix on Pleasant Pasture.
- Monsters do +1 fire damage
- Monsters do +0-20% fire damage
- Monsters do +0-20% cold damage
- Monsters do -23 to +199 cold damage

Requirements and How to enter maps
- Identified map.
- You need to be in Hell mode with a minimum character level of 80.
- Done the Ancients (Rite of Passage) quest.
- To enter a map, the player must place it on the altar in Malah's shop in Harrogath. The map is consumed and makes a red portal to the map.

Additional Map Information
- Even with a strong party and powerful items it may easily take 20+ minutes.
- Consider the server reset time before creating one.
- Only one map can be opened per game. The red portal next to the altar will stay even if the person who opened it leaves.
- On entering a map there's a one-way waypoint. Functionally, it can only access the original waypoints.
- The colour of a map indicates its difficulty. White maps should be slightly challenging for a single player. Yellow maps should be a moderate challenge for a few players. Red maps should be a hard challenge for a full party.
- Currently, there's no guarantee of a relic drop in the Musty Crypt and Desecrated Temple, nor do they have a boss.
